Marlone Christoff is a character in the Broken Playground game. He has brown hair and brown eyes. His current residence is New Orleans, Louisana. Marlone was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 29th, 1981, to Maxwell and Sharon Christoff.

He is nearly obsessed with helping rebuild the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina and preventing similar damage from happening again. Marlone uses his charm to gain influence through the city and accomplish this goal. He has extensive knowledge of the city's building plans, roadways, and utility systems.

Mortality

Marlone grew up in a tumultuous middle-class family. Maxwell and Sharon divorced when he was only 8, and Marlone was forced to move across the country so his father could take a new job. That job proved to take up a great deal of Maxwell's time. The rest of that time disappeared when Maxwell met and married his 2nd wife, Erica. Thus separated from his mother, and faced with a detached father, Marlone was forced to seek attention from other outlets.

Marlone excelled in school, especially art. The teachers at the private high school helped him harness his natural talent at drawing. Yet, it took the crumbling ruins of his father's marriage to lay the foundation for his own dreams of being an architecture. Maxwell tried to repair his and Erica's failing relationship by taking the family on a tour of Europe. Marlone was enamoured with the buildings in Rome, London, and Paris. The monuments stood in staunch contrast against the frivolities of human life, which were all too visible, despite his step-mother's attempts at hiding her cheating.

Marlone only went to the University of Texas - Austin after his first choice school, Cornell University, rejected him. Soon after U of T accepted him, his father's divorce was finalized. Marlone entered college at 17. This meant that his father, strapped for cash after his divorce from Erica, still had access to Marlone's trust fund. A legal battle ensued as Maxwell tried to steal Marlone's education from him. Maxwell lost, and Marlone rushed to finish his Master's in Architecture.

After graduating, Marlone began taking contracts with the city of Austin. One of these contracts required him to work from New Orleans on a mid-term basis...

Post-Life

As a Toreador, Marlone has great appreciation for art, especially well-designed buildings. He is not the most capable fighter, and so relies on his charm and mastery of Presence to stay out of trouble. Due to his love of buildings and dislike of fights, he is not particularly eager to allow vampires onto his properties, lest something be damaged.
