History

Mandy was born in St. Louis, brought up by a nurturing mother and a mostly absent father who was away on business often. As a young teenager she discovered she could increase her density to avoid getting injured, and if she did get injured, that she could heal herself rapidly. She used her enhanced abilities to excel in sports, eventually getting a scholarship to the University of Missouri.

She attended college right out of High School, majoring in Computers. Her plan was to get an advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence or something similar. To make ends meet, she worked part-time at The Gym in downtown St. Louis.

Late in her senior year, Mandy's parents were killed in a plane crash in Florida. After a sad graduation, she went to work full time at The Gym, never pursuing advanced studies. Over the next five years, she settled into a pattern of partying and unsuccessful relationships. She remained a quiet underachiever until Agent Frost contacted her about working for the government.

On Earth

After the Cerberus incident, she changed her name to Mandy. She was inspired by the idea of being a hero and working to make the world a better place for her kind. She hoped the group could live up to its ideals despite a lot of conflicting opinions.

Back in our home dimension

Initially upset that five years had passed since their departure, Mandy is optimistic that things will work out back here at home. She has a new boyfriend and a job. While things seem oddly peaceful for now, she still worries that Cerberus could be tracking her and her friends.
