Unisystem

Damage formula is as follows (Weapon) + (Successes) - (Damage Reduction) - (Armor) x (Damage Type)

Bash

This damage type is not multiplied after armor and usually does not result in life-threatening injuries unless otherwise permitted by the Storyteller.

Bullet

Bullet damage is doubled after armor.

Fire

Fire damage is not multiplied, but it heals at half the normal rate if the character does not receive supernatural healing. A character that takes more than 9 points of fire damage from fire will retain horrible scars.

Slash/Stab

Slash/Stab damage is doubled after armor.

Special Materials

Weapons that are made of a material that is harmful to the target creature do more damage. Silver against werewolves, wood against vampires, iron against fairies. The multiplier of the damage type used is increased by 1. So a bashing weapon would increase from 1x to 2x damage, and a slash/stab or bullet would increase to 3x damage.

Special Maneuvers

If a combat maneuver has a damage multiplier listed in its effects, that multiplier completely replaces the multiplier from damage type. Only certain kinds of weapons can be used to perform certain maneuvers though. Special Materials still increase the end multiplier by one.
