Buffy: The Eden Chronicles is a Live Action Roleplaying game set in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe. It is produced by The WyldDream Productions in association with the Missoula Roleplayer's Club The Storyteller is Sarah, aka TheWyldDream *also sometimes known as the 'ancient dragon of the LARPs' thanks to her many other fantastic LARPs in the past.

Setting
As stated before, the game is set in the Buffyverse, sans Buffy, Willow, and the rest of the Scooby Gang. In this version of the Buffyverse, Buffy died after Season 5 and never came back. Instead of Sunnydale, the game is set in the sleepy (and fictional) town of Eden, Montana.
The game is dark, but not so much as a Vampire: The Masquerade game would be. It is strongly player driven and is about friendship, frenemies, enemies, nemesises and of course weird things that go bump in the night. We are here to have fun. Costuming is modern scene clothing, appropriate to the teenaged characters.
Game System
Eden Chronicles uses the Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG by Eden Studios. It is based off the Unisystem created by Eden Studios. Bring a 10-sided die. If you don't have one, we have extras. The most interesting part of the system is the use of Drama Points. Eden Chronicles uses the available Buffy books; the Angel rules are not applicable here.
Of course, in the Buffyverse, the world needs saving, but that only comes around once per Season (12 episodes/games).
Downtime is at a minimum, if not discouraged.
Character Creation
Pregenerated characters are available for new players or anyone else who wants them, but you are free to create your own character using the White Hat Rules. To put everyone on equal footing, new characters are also given 30 extra Experience Points. Character creation is simple and shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. Its basically just "Fill in the Points". You must take an equal number of points in Drawbacks for each point you buy of Qualities. With the Character Sheet, Attributes, Skills, and Qualities & Drawbacks you should be able to make a character with the information here on the wiki.
Character Creation Guidelines
Our main concerns with characters for this game is that player characters be sociable and have a reason to hang out with the group. The following are good keys to help that out.
Your Character…
- Should be a teenager or a very young teacher.
- Should be attending, teaching, or be otherwise employed at Hellgate High School.
- Should be particularly brave, greedy, or curious and thus want to know more about the occult and the supernatural.
- Should be heroic, clever, or stupid so as to explain why they are risking their lives in combat.
- Should be social and have normal human desires such as lust, love, loneliness, and a desire for friendship and companionship.
- Should have mundane personal goals, such as getting a girlfriend or a car, keeping their job, making "real" friends, graduating high school or passing classes, making the football team, or getting scholarships and entering college.
- Should be curious, brave, power-hungry, greedy, or noble enough that they will have goals pushing further pursuit of the occult and supernatual.
